LET THE GOOD TIMES BOWL!

Bowling League Season will be 14 weeks total and start the week of January 26th and end the week of April 27th

Each league session begins at 6 p.m., allowing teams to get their shoes, lane assignments, and warm up. Three head-to-head games will be played every night.

Our leagues are meant to be social and competitive, but are non-sanctioned. We will still report, track, and use scores and handicaps for each night.

OPEN LEAGUE NIGHTS FOR THIS SEASON:

MONDAY, TUESDAY, & THURSDAY

SCORES AND HANDICAPS

Gilroy Bowl and staff will handle all match scheduling, lane assignment, scores, handicap management, and league standings. Handicaps will allow a fun and fair competitive atmosphere for all bowler skill levels.

Handicaps will be assessed after the first week if you don’t already have one.

PAYMENT & FEES

After feedback from our previous league members, we have decided to split the season payments into two. The cost for the full 14 weeks is $280 ($20 each night for 3 games) and includes shoes, balls, and Gilroy Bowl staff league administration and service.

Payment 1 is January 12th, beforethe league begins:

• $140 first payment is due to ensure your spot.

Payment 2 is due in week 7 of the league:

• $140 second and final payment will be made on week 7.

NOTE: Your league may increase fees to include prizes or parties; this is just the baseline.

TEAMS & SUBS

Teams of 4 will compete against one another. If a bowler from your team can’t make it, we encourage you to send a friend to sub. It’s your team’s responsibility to find subs, but you can also ask us to help find other league players to jump in if needed!

Scoring for Sub Players >

Players with Handicaps: If a sub has an existing handicap at Gilroy Bowl from another league night, they can more easily be activated for that night, and we will use their existing handicap for your team. Please let us know of any subs as soon as you arrive.

Non Handicap Players: These players are considered Pacers. They are bowling for fun in your place. If you have a non-handicap sub or pacer, the recorded score for the league will be the average of the player they replaced, minus 10 pins.

PIZZA & PRIZES

Week 1 Pizza Party Happy Hour | 5 pm-6 pm

Gilroy Bowl will provide complimentary pizzas on the first day and during the last game of league play for all nights. You can come early to get signed in, pay, and get situated. Pizza is on us, so come hungry!

Prizes / Trophies

Trophies, prize money, and the distribution and accounting of funds beyond our league fees must be handled by a volunteer or appointed person by your league's night members.

We encourage teams to come up with fun names and uniforms.
